Cong Skver Jackson ("Skver Jackson", "the shul", "we") is a nonprofit religious congregation. This policy explains what information we collect from members and donors through this website, the shul office, and our pledge reminder program, and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Contact details you give us: your name, mobile phone number, and email address.
• Pledge and donation records: membership, mikvah, sponsorships, and Shabbos pledges you make, and whether they have been paid.
• Payment information: card payments are processed by our card processor. Skver Jackson never sees or stores your full card number.

How we use it

• To record and track your membership, pledges, and donations.
• To send you reminders about pledges you made, with a link to pay, and receipts confirming a payment was received — by text message (SMS), email, or phone call, using the contact details you gave us.
• To answer your questions and manage your account with the shul.

Text messaging (SMS) program

If you provide your mobile number when making a pledge or donation — in person, by phone with the shul office, or on this website — you agree to receive pledge reminders and payment receipts by text from Skver Jackson. Message frequency varies (typically a few messages per month). Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP; reply HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of making a pledge, donation, or purchase.

We do not sell or share your information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile phone number, your text-messaging opt-in, and your consent data will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third party. Information is shared only with the service providers that help us operate this program (for example our card processor and our messaging/email provider), solely to perform those services for the shul, and as required by law.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep pledge and payment records as part of the shul's financial records. To correct or delete your contact details, or to stop all communications, contact the shul office.
